Horizon Ilford | this much anticipated development scheduled for completion soon, sales and lettings consultant Mark Hart headed to the development with property manager Thomas Wade to check up on progress on site and take it what Ilford has to offer.

Our second development in Ilford alongside Carlton House, Horizon Ilford is a landmark new residential tower minutes from cosmopolitan Ilford’s future Crossrail station, with its striking design inspired by Ilford’s photography and telecommunications-industry heritage. Horizon Ilford will offer exceptional quality accommodation, providing a selection of high specification studios, one and two-bedroomed apartments each comprising a balcony, fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances and superb bathroom suites.

The Exterior installation at Horizon Ilford is almost all complete, and it looks like glazing has been installed an all but a handful of apartments. There is a lot of activity around the site generally with tradesman seeming very busy right across the development. It’s a shame we weren’t able to gain access and have a look at progress internally but we will schedule a visit later in Spring.

Ilford is a vibrant and multicultural neighbourhood with a strong local community that attracts many residents to the area. There are a number of coffee shops and dining outlets offering a wide range of international cuisine also scattered around the town centre. The High Road is home to The Exchange shopping mall which contains 80 stores from a number of leading retail brands, as wells as cafés and independent boutiques whilst major supermarkets are all within walking distance of the development. With a frontage facing Ilford Hill, there is a bus stop on the door step of Horizon Ilford, with direct routes in and around Ilford and towards central London. Both Ilford and Seven Kings national rail stations are within easy reach of the development, with London Liverpool Street conveniently just 17 minutes’ away.

The Elizabeth Line will make journeys much quicker, with Canary Wharf just 17 minutes away, Bond Street reachable within 25 minutes and Paddington with 30 minutes. Heathrow Airport will be less than an hour away.
