The Regal Woolwich | Development Progress Update
The Regal Woolwich is all set for completion in mid-April, this smaller development of only 34 one and two bedroom apartments in Woolwich is well positioned next to the town hall and moments away from the market square and DLR station.
Completed to an exceptional specification with underfloor heating, video entry systems, and balconies or sun terraces leading off spacious bedrooms and open plan living areas, each apartment is fitted with delightful bathroom suites and white high gloss kitchens with quartz worktops and integrated appliances.
Ahead of completion and with snagging now well underway on site, Ben Hamilton-Rhys took a tour of the development for a first look and to kick start our marketing campaign.
It’s an unassuming development and almost finished. There was plenty of activity outside, with the fourth floor and the courtyard still being worked on, but you certainly get a sense of the finished product, and it’s exceptional. The development sits nicely with the local vernacular and doesn’t look out of place at all, and walking along the halls to the apartments offers a surprise. The corridors are external, laid to deck and all overlook the courtyard. It’s really refreshing to see a development like this.
High quality wood effect nonslip vinyl flooring and soft, carpeted bedrooms amplify the space on offer in these apartments, as do the floor to ceiling windows and doors in living areas and bedrooms. The size of the apartments is surprising, bedrooms are ample and the living areas larger than average and flooded with light. The halls are wider too, and certainly a lot of space for storage or even a small home office.
The finish is great, the kitchen worktops are really impressive and the recessed lighting works really well. The bathroom fittings are equally as impressive.
The Regal Woolwich Ideally located on a quiet street, positioned just off the High Street and market square, which offers a daily market for all sorts, as well as Sainsbury’s and Tesco supermarkets and an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants a stone’s throw away. It’s a great place to live, and what’s so great about Woolwich is that it continues to change, with more being added and improved. It’s fair to say that Woolwich is beyond up and coming, and has well and truly arrived, being brought even closer to central London with the arrival of cross rail shortly.
