Carlton House Ilford | Development Update
With eager anticipation of completion notices, Anna Langford, Global Operations Director at our London office took a visit to site to check on progress and review the finishes of this brand new development in the heart of Ilford.
Overall progress seems to be on track and the apartments are looking almost finished, with floor covering in on floors five upwards. Carpeting is fitted in the main living areas and bedrooms, with laminate in the kitchen areas and linoleum in the bathrooms.
It’s great to see the scaffolding had been taken down around the site, apart from the very front of the building and the communal entrance is also almost finished.

Ilford is centre of attention at the moment with not one but two Crossrail stations earmarked to make this one of the most popular commuter spots in and out of central London.
Carlton House Ilford will be within easy walking distance of one such station, and is already a short walk away from Seven Kings station, with London Liverpool Street less than 20 minutes away.
Ilford is a vibrant and multicultural neighbourhood with a strong local community that attracts many residents to the area. There are a number of coffee shops and dining outlets offering a wide range of international cuisine also scattered around the town centre. The High Road is home to The Exchange shopping mall which contains 80 stores from a number of leading retail brands, as wells as cafés and independent boutiques whilst major supermarkets are all within walking distance of the development.
The pedestrianised section of the High Road features further shopping, in addition to hosting a number of market stalls and exhibition spaces.
Ilford station is set for a 11 million upgrade that will improve its accessibility and modernise its facilities. Seven King’s station will also undergo a similar makeover preparation for taking its place along the route of the UK’s Crossrail.
